Hurricane season for the Atlantic is upon us about to produce solid swell for the entire east coast.  Many gulfcoasters already scored while Hurricane Gustav pushed through the Gulf last weekend.  There is a big misconception in skimboarding that the waves don’t get good outside of Cabo and Laguna.  Skimboarder wants to dismantle this myth by offering an user submitted photo contest.  The rules are simple: whoever can capture the best skim photo during this hurricane period will win some free gear from Skimboarder.  Their photo will be displayed in a hurricane photo feature in the next issue of Skimboarder along with the other top nominees.  Good luck to all and get the shot!
