Our good friend and photographer buddy really blew it. On a recent trip to Portual, he managed to leave all his photo gear in his rental car with get this: the doors unlocked. AMAZING. Needless to say, 6000 dollars worth of photo geer vanished into thin air. This is actually a pretty tragic loss: Take one look through the pages of the new magazine and you'll see, Hayward has been producing some of the best skimboarding images of late. Have you got yourself some sick skim photos?! Send em to us! Every future issue of SKIMBOARDER is will feature reader submitted photos in a section called "HOMEGROWN". If you're shots are up to snuff, we'll include them in the feature! On top of all this, the SKIMBOARDER photo eds will pick their favorite photo out of the lot for each issue. This photo ed's pick will be hansomely rewarded with a grab bag of product from one of our lovely advertisers!

Of course the photo's must be legally yours to submit, so don't even think about pulling shots off of Joe Bailey's website and sending them to us as "your" shots. We're smarter than that, but just barley.
